Position Purpose:
Performs professional and technical work related to the engineering activities of the Commission. Responsible to assist and coordinate water, sewer and storm drainage related to planning, engineering and environmental projects and programs.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:
Education. Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Resource Management, City Planning, or a related field of expertise is required with three to five (3-5) years relevant experience in policy analysis, planning or research; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
Knowledge, Ability and Skill:
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the CityWorks; extensive knowledge of BWSC stand plans and specifications, construction procedures and operations: general knowledge of construction inspection; and working knowledge of arithmetic and plane geometry.
Ability: Ability to manage data and extract information; ability to use various PC software including ArcMap; and ability to establish and maintain effective relations with other departments.
Skill: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient computer skills including MS Office applications and specialized software. Skill in operating the above listed tools and equipment.
